It is possible to use all coffee bean brands, however the Lavazza Assoluta, thanks to its Perfect Bean Match technology, ensures the perfect cup result when using Lavazza beans, adjusting its settings to match the characteristics of our unique coffee blends.
Can I only use Lavazza beans?
It is a special technology created by Lavazza that allows the machine to recognize the Lavazza coffee blend by easily scanning the barcode on the package. This enables the machine to adapt all its settings to deliver the best in-cup result for a specific blend.
To activate the technology, the machine must be connected to the Lavazza App, Piacere. This technology is designed to work only with coffee beans from the Lavazza brand.
What is the Perfect Bean Match technology?
The grinder setting is the adjustment of the coffee grind size (fine grind or coarse grind), which can be set using a special lever inside the compartment where the coffee beans are inserted.
What is the Grinder Setting and what is it for?
The grinder selector is a lever located in the compartment where the coffee beans are placed, allowing you to adjust the grind size to always achieve the best result for any type of coffee, whether it's an espresso or long coffees.
Lavazza has specifically designed two settings that cover all types of coffee while being easy to set:
Fine grind for espresso coffees
Coarse grind for long coffees
Using Perfect Bean Match technology, you will be guided to the most suitable grind setting for the Lavazza blend you are using.
