Learn more about why training in the coffee industry is fundamental with Cutler
A coffee expert and enthusiast, to say the least, David Cutler is a key player in Lavazza’s UK team.
His journey with Lavazza began early on in 2013, when he worked as a trainer teaching Barista Skills and Brewing. Cutler then spent some time at the Lavazza headquarters in Turin, creating education programs for the UK and Ireland.
Since 2015, Cutler has been Head of Training for Lavazza UK and works as a coffee specialist and Brand Ambassador while continuing to oversee the Training Centre in the UK.
Thrilled at how the coffee industry has evolved in the UK over the past decade, David believes in offering consumers an end-to-end coffee experience. Together with Lavazza, he aims to do so by passing on Lavazza’s history and expertise at Lavazza’s world-class training facilities, the largest centres for coffee studies in Italy and the world.
Cutler’s objective is to provide all those who aspire to learn the art of coffee and cultivate its culture, with a space where they can get creative with their coffee preparations.
By thinking outside the box and finding new and different ways to use this precious and bold ingredient, people who work in and with the world of coffee can have an extensive repertoire of extraordinary coffee preparations at their disposal.
What Cutler values most about Lavazza is its innovative spirit, its commitment to sustainability and its participation in reintroducing coffee and coffee farming back to historic coffee growing regions in Colombia, Peru and Brazil. It is for this reason that one of his favourite coffee products is Lavazza’s La Reserva de ¡Tierra!, the new premium range of sustainable blends grown in Rainforest Alliance certified farms.
